Easy Chimichurri Sauce Recipe for Steak

Chimichurri Sauce

If you’ve ever eaten steak in Argentina, you know chimichurri sauce is a must. This fresh, zesty sauce adds brightness and herb flavor that complements grilled beef perfectly.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro (optional)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine parsley, cilantro, garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  2. Stir in vinegar and olive oil until blended.
  3. Season with salt and pepper. Taste and adjust.

Serve over grilled skirt steak, ribeye, or flank steak. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to a week.
